About Volly Heart

Current Officers

	William Balmes President/ Chief Bill has been a member of the unit since 2002. He has been an EMT since 1993. Since that time he has served as the unit's communication chairman and has helped VHA with a number of other projects to help the unit grow and achieve success. He has also served in various other volunteer squads as well as a paid EMT in Jersey City, NJ for a short time. Bill currently works as a Security Supervisor for Barclays Capital in Piscataway, New Jersey. When not working, he can be found at home with his wife and three children or in the mountains of NY or PA riding an ATV to many new destinations. Email Bill

	Chris Caputo President 2007-2008 Chris has been a member of Volunteer Heart since 2003. He has previously held the position of Vice-President. He is currently in charge of Vehicle Maintenance and Driver Training. While not attending to unit business, Chris runs a family business and is an EMT at Staten Island University Hospital.
	Paul Cannavo President 2005-2007 Paul has been a member of Volunteer Heart since 1999. He has previously served as the unit's secretary for one term and treasurer for two terms. In 2002, Paul received the unit's "EMT of the Year" award presented by the Staten Island Borough President's office. He has also received numerous unit citations. While not out on tour or tending to unit business, Paul works as a Senior Accountant for a local C.P.A. firm in Dongan Hills.
	Pete Moss President 2003-2005 Pete has been a member of Volly Heart since 1999. During his free time, he is a full-time technical project manager at a New York bank.
	Mark Santo President 2001–2003, 1992-1994 Mark has been a member of Volly Heart since 1988. When he is not working on Volly Heart business, Mark runs a family medical supply business in Brooklyn.
	William Goffin President 1999–2001 Bill has been with Volly Heart since 1991. He has held multiple offices and has been in charge of Vehicle Maintenence since 1993. Bill is also a full-time EMT at S.I.U.H. and St. Vincent's Medical Center.
